On December 24th, 2024, KinderEye and Rajan Eye Care Hospital (RECH) transformed the lives of 20 children, launching a collaboration in Tamil Nadu, India. The distribution of these eyeglasses will allow these children to see the world more clearly and succeed in school.
This initiative was led by Prof. Dr. Mohan Rajan, Chairman and Medical Director of RECH, with key support from Dr. Sujatha Mohan, Director of RREB. The event was held at the hospital’s conference hall in T. Nagar and featured contributors including Rtn. Narendra Srisrismal, President of the Rotary Club 24-25 of Madras T. Nagar (RCMT), Rtn. Dr. Poornima Karthik, Club Secretary 24-25 of RCMT, and special guest District Governor (DG) Rtn. Mahaveer Bothra of the Rotary International District 3233. Their dedication exemplified the power of collaboration in creating meaningful social impact, marking another step in KinderEye’s mission to bring vision equity to underserved children worldwide.
