Out of a student body of 341, teachers at Saraswat Primary School, located in De Willem, West Coast Demerara, identified 39 children they felt needed glasses. The group was then transported to Miracle Vision Care at Parika East Bank Essequibo to receive free eye testing, where 37 children were found to need eyeglasses, and for two others, eye surgeries.
